As all moms know, it can be a challenging to keep kids happy, busy and entertained. Have you ever tried to do errands while dealing with an active toddler? Or tried to find an activity to keep a child entertained more then 5 minutes? To keep up with my son sometimes I feel I need the power of superhero's like The Avengers! All of them!
I posted recently that Walmart and Marvel launched the SuperHero Augmented Reality app, a first-of- its-kind mobile application available at the iTunes App Store and Android Market. I was excited that the app is tied to this Summer’s blockbuster film, The Avengers!
Walmart and Marvel hoped this app will ultimately help mothers across the country turn their weekly shopping trip into a “SuperHero” experience. Sounds good to me since moms need all the help we can get!
But that's not all! As part of the app launch, Walmart has invited me, along with Rory of Mamma Contemporanea, and Ruby of Growing Up Blackxican, to join in their Twitter chat to celebrate #SuperHeroMoms.
Date: May 2, 2012
Time: 2-3pm EST (11am-12pm PST)
Hashtag: #SuperHeroMoms.
Host: @WalmartSpecials
Co-host: @Mcontemporanea @RubyDW @MommyFactor
During the twitter chat topics of discussion will include tips on how to make the most out of everyday experiences such as
- What does being a superhero mom mean?
- What do you do when your kid says, “I’m bored”
- Managing your career with children – tips for trying to make it all work
- SuperHero savings- how do you save for your family?
