This week I attended The Big City Moms "Biggest Baby Shower Ever", co-hosted with Fit Pregnancy, to see some of the newest products and brands that expecting and new moms (and dads) should know about including strollers, high chairs, diaper bags, car seats, bedding, bibs, clothing, decor and much more.
The event was filled with over 100 companies in the baby industry, including strollers from Britax, Baby Jogger and Orbit Baby, BPA-free essential products from BornFree and Munchkin, and baby must-haves from Sage Spoonfuls and Skip*Hop. During the event I saw products from Joovy, Vicks, and even Adora Calcium, which are supplements made from premium chocolate. OMG LOVE those!
At the event J&R Jr, featured a huge on-site pop up shop where attendees could purchase all the latest products they learned about at discounted prices.
In light of the after-effects of Hurricane Sandy, Big City Moms collect baby necessities from their partners to help New York moms who need help right away. Big City Moms and J&R Jr, in partnership with Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. While I was already familiar with many of the brands at the Biggest Baby Shower, I was excited to see and learn about other brands new to me. Here are a few that caught my eye.
