After discovering that the Queen of Soul had a live recording of "Love The One You're With," more than a year ago thanks to doctoral student Stefan Smith, I rushed over to my vinyl collection to dust of Franklin's "Live at Filmore West" and put it on my record player immediately. Much to my surprise and enjoyment, Aretha and crew churned out an upbeat infectious rendition of "Love The One You're With," which is a sublime addition to any music collector's discography.
